At More Than Care, our mission is to provide truly person-centred, compassionate support that empowers adults to live fulfilling, dignified, and independent lives.

Founded in 2019 as a micro-provider with just one dedicated member of staff, we have grown into a trusted, CQC-regulated care service employing 35 skilled and compassionate professionals. Our growth reflects the real demand for our services.

Our approach is deeply person-centred. We take the time to truly get to know each individual—their history, their preferences, their routines, and what matters most to them. This allows us to provide support that feels natural, respectful, and tailored, rather than clinical or intrusive. We don’t believe in a “one size fits all” model. Every person we support is unique, and our care reflects that.

More Than Care focuses on delivering high-quality one to one and two to one support through live-in care at home or within residential settings. Our care manager tailors every support plan to the individual, recognising that no two people are the same.

We recognise that many people don’t want to feel like they have “carers.” That’s why our team members take on roles that feel more like companions—supporting independence, encouraging confidence, and walking alongside individuals rather than taking over. Whether it’s helping someone access their community, maintain daily routines, or simply having a friendly chat, we aim to make every interaction feel human and authentic.

Families trust us because we care not just for the individual, but for the wider picture. We provide reassurance, communication, and peace of mind—especially for those who may not live nearby. Knowing their loved one is supported by a compassionate, consistent team makes all the difference.
